EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in : Computer Science/Electronic Engineering/other Technology-related field
EXPERIENCE: • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience; Experience in a multinational organization is a definite advantage.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, assembly, evaluation, documentation and integration of technical architecture, to adequately support the enterprise infrastructure in line with the organization’s major application requirements, acquisition costs and operation and maintenance standards.
JOB FUNCTION :
• Establish positions, recommend technologies, develop architectures and targets based on the technology strategic plan
• Analyze, define and document requirement for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment
• Identify specific opportunities to use technology within the organization and actively participate in the detailed planning of projects in information technology
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirement
• Analyze the system requirements and ensure that systems design are secure and effectively integrated with current applications in use
• Perform detailed analysis and develop technical solutions based on evolving business trends and needs
• Ensure that complex infrastructure solutions are scoped, architected and designed with sufficient due diligence to assure successful implementation and integration with existing organizational processes
• Ensure that all systems work at optimal levels and offer support to application development team regarding new technologies and systems requirements
• Participate in communication activities as required
REQUIREMENT:
• A thorough knowledge of infrastructure, application, programming, and software applications
• A good understanding of key customer business challenges and strategies, with specific experience in Telecommunications Service Provider environments
• Strong technical and project management skills, must be resourceful and able to work as part of a team
• Proven experience with understanding and assessing infrastructure sizing and performance planning, including network topology and processing capacity
• Proven experience working with project teams and vendors in a leadership role to establish infrastructure standards and capabilities based on business requirements, service level agreements and IT funding
• Ability to propose and evaluate infrastructure architectures that are aligned with enterprise (global) business and IT strategies
• Proven experience with defining and evaluating solutions, vendors, and technologies related to IT infrastructure
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, proven presentation skills.
